Melih is an expert in local security policy, the practical requirements for all kinds of event protocols and VIP security as well as the softer aspects of international relations.
He is the Co-founder of IDESUS LLP with a focus on the regional market.
In recent years he has been a strategic consultant to the Ministry for EU relations, and governmental liason and Deputy Director of operations for the International Medical Corps support for Syria. He has also consulted on international trade and project management for the Mor Group.
Melih’s most formative experience was spending 14 years until 2012 as Protocol Director for the office of the Istanbul Governor, a role involving all manner of International Diplomacy and Protocol Management challenges.
In 1996 he was the founder of Istanbul Police Department’s Riot Policing Education Department.
